Allegation
The EFCC alleged that Yero, a former minister, a former Secretary to the State Government and a former state party chairman received and shared ₦700 million paid to influence the outcome of the 2015 election.
Outcome / Status
He was arraigned in 2018, briefly remanded and then granted bail. On 21 November 2022 he was re-arraigned on an eight-count amended charge before Justice R.M. Aikawa of the Federal High Court, Kaduna, and pleaded not guilty. We found no verdict.
