The problem
Ugwuanyi took office in May 2015 as Nigeria entered a recession following a drastic drop in crude-oil prices, leaving the incoming administration with a paucity of funds, a high inherited debt profile and large outstanding wage bills to service.
What was done
The administration says it stabilised finances and grew IGR substantially over the tenure to help offset the weak federal-allocation environment.
