What the case is about
Deputy Governor Mahdi Gusau was impeached by the Zamfara State House of Assembly on 23 February 2022 for alleged gross misconduct, after obtaining a July 2021 court order restraining the Assembly from impeaching him over his refusal to defect from the PDP to the APC alongside Matawalle.
