The directive
Ordered the shutdown of all public and private schools by 24 March 2020, banned gatherings of more than 20 people including at mosques and churches, and directed recreational centres and restaurants to close by 7pm daily, announced 21 March 2020 as Taraba recorded its early COVID-19 cases.
Real-world effect
The restrictions were later eased into a partial reopening, with movement and business hours limited to 8am-2pm from 9 April 2020.
