The old Ondo State combined present-day Ondo and Ekiti, a large farming population spread across many small towns with uneven schooling, health cover and roads.
What was done
The administration pursued the UPN social programme but its second term was consumed by the disputed 1983 election and the violence that followed, then ended by the military.
